Lieutenant Colonel Tom Hemingway, USMC (Ret.)

Lieutenant Colonel Tom Hemingway, USMC (Ret.) Lieutenant Colonel Tom Hemingway spent twenty-four years in the United States Marine Corps, serving in many billets, including battalion command, in front-line combat units around the globe. He accepted Christ in Yokohama, Japan in 1955 and thereafter became active in OCF.

After retirement in 1980 he spent seventeen years as the director of the Spring Canyon conference Center. In 1997 he became the first full-time Director of OCF ROTC Ministries.

Tom was a much sought-after speaker. He spoke regularly on such diverse subjects as terrorism, leadership, national strategy, the Christian family, faith in the workplace, and discipleship. He spoke in a wide variety of places such as community churches, at Cambridge and Oxford, national prayer breakfasts, the FBI Academy, etc. Tom Hemingway died suddenly in August 2000.
