Ambassadors for Christ in Uniform

The OCF vision is "a spiritually transformed military, with ambassadors for Christ in uniform, empowered by the Holy Spirit, living with a passion for God and compassion for the entire military society."

What does it mean to be an ambassador for Christ in uniform?
  • Living lives that represent Christ and reflect His life, honor and glory.
  • Applying the principles of professionalism and practical application of biblical principles in your military units.

"In uniform" simply characterizes OCF members as military leaders. In 2 Corinthians 5:20, Paul says that all Christians are Christ's ambassadors: "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us." Our lives should reflect the presence of Christ in a gentle, loving, and respectful way.

An ambassador represents his king. OCF members recognize their charge is from the King of kings to represent Him in every aspect of their spiritual, family, and professional lives. They accomplish this through prayer, professional excellence, and biblically consistent leadership.
